Wilson Electronics Beefs up Key Positions to Support Rapid Expansion in Marketplace U.S.-Based Maker of Cellular Signal Boosters Adds to Marketing, Sales, and Technical Teams

ST. GEORGE, Utah, May 03, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Wilson Electronics (www.WilsonElectronics.com), manufacturer of North America's top-selling line of cellular signal boosters, announced recent new hires and promotions at the company's corporate headquarters.

We feel privileged to be adding talent to our team during a time that has been difficult for so many." Catherine "Kanoe" Corpus has joined our marketing team. A native to Hawaii, Catherine moved to Utah where she attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City studying Communications with an emphasis in Advertising. Catherine has been in the Marketing Industry for about 10 years where she specialized in print advertising.
Mike Ebert joins Wilson Electronics as a video production animation and designer. Born and raised not far from company headquarters in Southern Utah, Ebert brings new insights and skills in 3D animation to an already accomplished team of designers.
Taylor White has been named as the company's first online brand specialist. She represents Wilson Electronics online in countless forums, blogs, and social media tools. White is a recent Brigham Young University (BYU) graduate, and hopes to make a home in St. George, having lived in over 25 cities throughout her life.
In a shift, Ken Perkins will now oversee all public relations for the company's resellers, as well as production for sales collateral. An Oklahoma native, Perkins has extensive experience marketing technical products and has worked as an editor of business publications and websites. A graduate of BYU, he has handled the media and community relations responsibilities for several local companies.
Jonathan Bacon has been promoted to be the director of marketing. With several years of experience having worked in agencies in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, he will be responsible for the strategic direction and tactical implementation of the marketing department. A naturalized U.S. citizen and fluent French speaker, Bacon is a native of Toronto and a graduate of BYU.
