ST. GEORGE, Utah, Sep 08, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Wilson Electronics ( www.WilsonElectronics.com ), manufacturer of North America's top-selling line of cellular signal boosters, announced the availability of the company's 4G LTE 700 signal booster, built to improve the performance of any LTE device operating on Verizon Wireless'(TM) 700 MHz 4G network. The signal booster is on display at CEDIA Expo 2011, booth #437 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

With a suggested retail price of $359.95, the Wilson 4G LTE 700 is the most affordable consumer 4G booster available. And unlike other 4G boosters on the market, Wilson's feature very fast automatic oscillation sensing technology and auto-shutdown, as well as cell tower proximity detection and auto-shutdown, in addition to other cell site protection safeguards. These features make it the safest consumer 4G signal booster available.

It also features the highest signal gain for a consumer booster at 70 dB--for maximum coverage area indoors. The results are reliable connections where before there was weak signal or no signal, and faster data transfer speeds.

"Wilson is now providing for users of Verizon 4G devices the same signal boosting benefits that our customers on 3G networks have enjoyed," said Joe Banos, Wilson Electronics COO. "This booster will bring Verizon's 4G signal to those experiencing weak or blocked signal indoors."

The 4G LTE 700 features separate adjustable gain controls - one for the uplink (device-to-tower communication), and another for the downlink (tower-to-device communication). These gain controls allow the unit's gain, or signal amplification level, to be optimized for its specific location. This also simplifies the installation process by allowing for more flexibility in the correct placement of the booster's interior and exterior antennas.
